It was an absolute pleasure to have had 2 years with Bertie, the rabbit no one wanted. It was their loss and our gain.
He loved nose rubs, his castle, his toy polar bear (which sleeps with me now) and was a “lick monster” !
More than all of this he was my best mate and the love of my life, and even his name was my nickname, it was fate !
If love was enough to have saved him, he would have lived forever!
