Bunzle Antilles

21 May 2012- 29 November 2016 Bunzle Antilles was born as one of a litter of 4 half-Netherland Dwarf buns – his brother Rutger and 2 sisters Fudge (OTRB) and Toffee. He was named Bunzle because that’s what Mummy’s Daddy called bunnies. The Antilles is because Mummy had a job where she went on a container ship to the Netherland Antilles islands in the Caribbean.

Bunzle had no idea that he would make so many amazing bunpals from all around the world on Twitter who lit up his life and provided support when we needed it over the years. Mummy and Daddy’s hearts are broken losing such an amazebun. We are sure everybun reading this knows their own buns are buns in a million, but really Bunzle was the best thing to ever happen in our lives. We had no idea about the love, joy, comfort and laughter he would bring.

Bunzle was so tiny when he arrived, he almost fitted in just one hand. He was a cheeky bun, twisting one ear round to the side and keeping the other one upright, he always chose love over food, he had a lovely demeanour and always wanted to be loved. Bunzle and Rutger lived together at first, then they were separated for a while, but then Mummy decided she wanted to rebond them and that was it, they never left each other’s sides. It was a joy to see them with their heads and ears intertwined, frantically licking each other round the back of their necks as if their lives depended on it. Rutger comforted Bunzy before he went over the rainbow bridge and gave him those final licks that melted our hearts and made our tears brim over. Bunzle worked very hard from home, listening in to conference calls around the world whilst cuddling and licking Mummy. For a bun so small you leave an immense hole in our lives, home and hearts. We love you forever Bunzy xxx
